- A basic level of fitness (you don’t need to have practised yoga before)

Equipment
All participants are required to have a yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks and a strap. If you do not have these items at home, SJ has some available for sale. Should you wish to purchase from SJ kindly let her know well in advance so she may place an order on your behalf. Once an order has been placed amendments to orders are not possible.

If you’re looking to improve mental and physical wellbeing, build strength and mobility, and enhance overall performance, we offer a range of yoga experiences to support your goals. Our programs are designed to be accessible, adaptable, and supportive, whether you are seeking personal wellbeing or performance-focused practice.
Our equestrian-focused offerings are designed to support riders across all disciplines and levels. We host half-day immersive clinics that introduce the full spectrum of equestrian yoga, combining movement, breath, and awareness to support balance, focus, and rider alignment. These clinics are offered at selected locations across South Africa. We also offer 90-minute refresher practices, ideal for riders looking to consolidate their skills or experience a shorter introduction to equestrian yoga.
For those seeking a more personalised approach, we offer private yoga sessions tailored to individual needs and schedules. Private classes can be booked for one-on-one sessions or small groups and focus on mobility, strength, relaxation, or specific goals.

Refresher Course
90 minute class | POA
Our refresher practices are ideal for those looking to consolidate their skills as well as those seeking a short introduction into equestrian yoga.
05:00 pm – 6:30 pm: This practice will cover:

- Flexibility
- A sense of humour, open mind and positive energy
- A passion for working with horses as partners
- Water
- Gym gear, must be comfortable and loose/stretchy as well as warm!
All participants are required to have a yoga mat, a strap and two blocks. If you do not have these items at home, SJ has some available for sale. Should you wish to purchase from SJ kindly let her know well in advance. Once an order has been placed amendments to orders are not possible.
Personalised Practice
Keeping it up | POA
After having completed either a workshop or refresher course, SJ can provide you with a personalised practice sheet. This will include a one hour private lesson in person or on zoom to help you master the exercises.
SJ provides personalised practice plans for course attendees and individuals alike, so you can practice equestrian yoga at your pace, in your home.
An included 1 hour private class (either on zoom or in person) will help you master the exercises so you can practice them thereafter. Improve your connection with your body and your horse, in your own time.
These sheets require either prior attendance at one of our courses, or a short consultation with SJ. This is so she can put together a personalised practice for your body, to ensure the exercises target your areas of improvement. It also allows her to determine how much time you can dedicate to maintaining your practice.

SJ offers personalised private yoga sessions incorporating vinyasa and dynamic stretch techniques to enhance mobility, strength and overall wellbeing.
SJ offers one-to-one yoga sessions that blend vinyasa and dynamic stretch, created specifically around your body and goals. These private sessions provide focused attention, helping you move better, feel stronger and improve your overall balance and mobility.
Your 1-hour session takes place in person for personalised guidance.
All that’s required is an open mind and a willingness to explore your body’s potential. Please bring a yoga mat, and if available, straps and blocks to support your practice. These props help deepen stretches, improve alignment, and ensure you move safely and confidently throughout your session.
